SHI Expands AWS Relationship to Support AWS Control Tower

Published on : 11/29/2021

SHI joins the AWS Built on Control Tower Partner Network program to set up an infrastructure as code pipeline for new AWS account holders, allowing them to automate the deployment of resources.

SHI International, one of the world's largest IT solutions providers and Premier Consulting Partner for Amazon Web Services (AWS), has today been named a launch partner for the Built on Control Tower program.

Building on SHI's AWS Migration Competency and AWS Storage Competency, engineers from the Cloud and Innovative Solutions team at SHI's Stratascale division have built Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) solutions that will now be available both in AWS Marketplace and directly in AWS Control Tower.

These SHI-developed solutions empower customers to set up and govern fully configured and secure multi-account Cloud9 integrated development environment (IDE) environments on demand.

"Our deep AWS expertise positions us to help organizations at any stage of their cloud adoption journey. That's why AWS approached us for this program," said Ryan Schell, Vice President of Stratascale Cloud and Innovative Solutions at SHI. "By joining AWS Built on Control Tower, our customizable AWS offerings will now be visible to a larger number of AWS adopters. Through this program, we are eager to assist even more AWS customers in their migration efforts."

With the launch of Stratascale in 2020, SHI introduced a consultancy-first approach to helping larger enterprises take advantage of technology innovation to rapidly adapt in response to business changes and challenges. Stratascale's researchers, technical advisors, consultants, and field service professionals seamlessly integrate with SHI's world-class procurement, implementation and managed services capabilities, giving customers access to a truly integrated end-to-end partner for enabling their business technology transformative journey.
