It is primarily powered by solar cells optimized to harvest light from a variety of light conditions (including indoor lighting). It connects to up to 3 devices using Bluetooth SoC. This extremely low-power capability makes it considerably more power efficient than other Bluetooth keyboards.

It also features Targus DefenseGuard Antimicrobial Protection. Unlike topically applied sprays, this DefenseGuard keyboard is infused with additives that don't wear or wash off. They also work for the life of the product.
